Exchange: 1 USD = 115 HUF and 1 DEM = 85 HUF (1995. April) (rates are for USD, DEM >>> HUF conversion) Accomodation: Hotel Juvenile, H-6500. BAJA, Petofi sziget, Tel.: (79)-324-022 Hotel Danube, H-6500, BAJA, Szentharomsag ter 6. Tel.: (79)-323-224 or Hotel Sugovica, H-6500, BAJA, Petofi sziget, Tel.: (79)-321-755 Also there is a possibility for participants coming by car with caravan or tent to set them up in the area of the hotel for about 3-5 USD/days. Scientific goals: The main aim of the meeting is to collect the professional and amateur astronomers working in the field of CCD imaging & photo- metry of variable stars. We would like to give a general review of the recent results of these observations - with a special interest of those which partly or mostly based upon amateur observations. We also welcome speakers about the present situation and the possible developments of the national or private observatories of the region which have photoelectric observing projects. As there are strong efforts to establish automatic telescopes and world-wide observing networks of such (or traditional) telescopes, we wait also for discussions of this problem. * * * * * The Program: * * * * * April 27, 1995 (Thursday): afternoon: arrival Registration office: at the Hall of Hotel Juvenile It will be prepared for registration since 13:00 The registration officer is Miss Jozsef, Rita evening: traditional local fish soup party in the garden of Hotel Juvenile (joint dinner dedicated to our guests) April 28 (Friday): morning session (starting at 09:00): - L. The material of this conference will be published in a later issue of IAPPP Communication, and also in a form of a small booklet. This proceedings collection will be sent to every participants and a lot of institutes of all over the world. Thus, somewhat more detailed materials of the posters and lectures will be possible to publish in their entire extension. The general form of the contribution is the camera-ready printed form (processed with WinWord 2.0, or TEX) and printed by laser print- ers or inkjet printers in good quality). If it were possible, it would be advisable to receive the materials in floppy diskette, too. The posters will be accepted arranged on A/2 or A/1 format cardboard.
